Swarnasol (“Swarnasol”, “we”, “us”, “our”) supplies industrial and commercial cleaning equipment, including sweepers, scrubbers, vacuums, pressure washers, spares and rental solutions. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect your personal data when you visit www.swarnasol.com (the “Website”), contact us, or use our products and rental services.

By using the Website or submitting your details to us, you acknowledge this Policy. Where the law requires consent, we will ask for it clearly before processing your data.

For the purposes of applicable Indian law, Swarnasol is the “Data Fiduciary” for the personal data described below.

3. Information We Collect

a) Information you give us

• Enquiry and contact forms: full name, email address, phone number, location (city or site), company name, and any message you write.
• Product, spares and rental enquiries: the equipment you’re interested in, site or facility type, rental duration and usage requirements.
• Calls, emails and WhatsApp: your phone number, WhatsApp profile name and the contents of your messages, which we receive when you contact us on these channels.
• Sales, service and rental agreements: billing and delivery addresses, GST details, authorised signatory and contact details, and operator or site-contact details. We collect these only once you become a customer.

b) Information collected automatically

• Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages viewed, time spent, referring pages and approximate location derived from IP.
• Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 6.

c) Equipment and location data (rental customers)
Some rental machines are GPS-enabled. For these we may process machine location, operating hours and usage data to manage rentals, billing, maintenance, safety and asset security. This is mainly equipment data, but it may relate to identifiable people, such as operators assigned to a machine.

d) Information we do not seek
We do not ask for sensitive personal data such as financial account details, government ID numbers, health information or biometric data through this Website, and we do not process online payments here. Please do not include this information in enquiry messages.

5. Legal Basis and Consent

We process personal data with your consent (for example, when you submit an enquiry form), or where processing is a permitted “legitimate use” under applicable law. Withdrawal does not affect processing done before it, and it may limit our ability to respond to your request or provide services.

• Business transfers: in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this Policy continuing to protect your data.

Third-party services on the Website

• Google Maps (contact page): Google may collect your IP address and usage data when the map loads, under Google’s privacy policy.
• WhatsApp: when you click the WhatsApp button, you leave our Website and communicate through WhatsApp (Meta), which handles your data under its own policy.
• Social media (X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube): our links take you to platforms governed by their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices.

8. Data Storage, Transfers and Retention

Your data may be stored on servers and systems run by our service providers, some of which may be located outside India (for example, Google’s infrastructure). Where data is transferred outside India, we take reasonable steps to ensure it stays protected, in line with applicable law.

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above:

• Enquiries that don’t lead to a sale: typically up to [24] months after last contact.

Our Website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
